Get Uncomfortable

 

When you decide to do something different… whether it’s making money or becoming more healthy… the desired result always lies right outside your comfort zone. The only way to succeed is to get uncomfortable… stretch beyond your comfort zone to what seems impossible. You don’t have to get it right, perfect or complete in one fell swoop.

And here’s a little secret… the stretch will feel scary, yet so right and often in flow if you feel into your fear (the story we often replay to keep us where we are), endure the discomfort, observe the resistance, and go for it anyway. This is completely different than forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to do – fear often doesn’t accompany this type of action. It’s also not FOMO.

My challenge to you this week… find ways to stretch outside your comfort zone on the regular! This action isn’t about eliminating fear. It’s more about acting in spite of fear … training yourself beyond current limitations.
